Handy Daddy = Saving us $8,000 for the cabinetry project

We decided to just do the upgrade of our kitchen cabinetry ourselves or I should say our "Handy Daddy" did the work himself to save us big bucks. When we went out for estimates to update our kitchen, we originally wanted to replaced our existing cabinets with cherry wood but the price is way beyond our budget. We we're given $8,000 fee for new oak cabinets and we almost agreed to that! Nah, not really. What we have is also an OAK cabinet that's why we did not go for a new cabinetry. Our existing cabinets are still good, it just needs a little sanding, staining and polyurethane and that's what our Handy Daddy did. We added a hardware too to make it look nicer.

Next week the new granite countertop will installed and new matching stainless steel appliances as well. We can't wait!!!
